Going for long hikes that last during the day…you tend to want to take a lunch. So what better then to make Tuna Pasta Salad! I’ve actually never made this before but it turned out really really good. I have tuna in the cupboard and lots of pasta so why not something simple?
Ingredients: 2 cans of tuna, 1/2 box of pasta, 2 Tbsp mayo, 2 Tbsp italian dressing, 1 stalk of broccoli florets, 1 corn on the cob (shucked), 1/8 tsp chipotle powder, and 1/4 tsp paprika.
First, of course, boil the pasta.
Once the pasta is fully cooked, place in the fridge to cool down. When cooled put all the ingredients together. You can add salt and pepper if you would like but I didn’t think it was needed.
Also it wasn’t spicy at all considering the chipotle powder in it…that just added flavor! But I liked this dish and I’m sure I’ll make it again.
