Brown Sugar Butterscotch Blondies

At my work we have a dessert: White Chocolate Blondie and I bought a brown sugar Blondie from Whole Foods and I’ve had a taste for them ever since. So I decided to make my own! It took a while to figure out what candy chip to use in the Blondie but we decided on Butterscotch instead of white chocolate. Either way butterscotch chops are amazing!!

Ingredients: 2 cups flour, 1 bag butterscotch, 4 eggs, 2 cups brown sugar, 1 cup butter, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp baking powder, and 1.5 Tbsp vanilla

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

In a bowl mix together the flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.

In another bowl cream together the butter, vanilla, and brown sugar. Add the eggs one at a time. Scoop in the flour mixture, 1 scoop at a time.

Spray an 8 x 8 baking pan with none stick cooking spray and pour the batter into the pan.

Bake for 35 minutes.

And shut the front door but these are the best type of brownie I have ever had! They’re gooey, excellent with ice cream and goes amazingly great with butterscotch. These are definitely a dessert that I’ve rated above the best.

(Now if you don’t have brown sugar or just choose not too, you can substitute with white sugar or what ever type of sugar you want to use).
