Italian Meatballs

Since making meatloaf this past week, I had left over ground meat in the fridge so I decided to make Italian Meatballs. I haven’t had meatballs in a long long time and I’m using my own recipe instead of the Betty Crocker recipe (even though the Betty Crocker recipe is really good).

Ingredients: 3/4 lbs ground pork, 3/4 lb’s ground veal, 1 lb ground beef, 1 egg, 1 cup whole milk, 1/4 tsp oregan, 1/4 tsp basil, 1 – 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/3 cups parmesan cheese, 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce, 1/4 tsp  dried mustard, 1 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 tsp sage, 1 small onion (minced), and  1/2 tsp garlic powder.

Pre-heat oven to 350 degree’s.

Combine all the ingredients together until fully incorporated. Roll into balls the size you prefer (I made mine about 2 inches in size).

Spray a baking pan with none stick spray and place the meatballs in the pan about 1/2 inch apart. Bake fore about 45 minutes.

Eat with spaghetti, risotto,  or any Italian dish you fall in love with, or eat by itself.
