I am so on this alcohol ice cream kick. Caramel Whisky, Tequila, and who knows what’s next. But I love making ice cream! And these alcohol ice creams are really good.
Ingredients: 2 cups tequila (alcohol burned off), 1 cup heavy whipping cream, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp lime juice, shavings of 2 limes (micro-planned).
Place the ice cream maker in the freezer over night.
First burn off the alcohol in the tequila. Add that to the rest of the ingredients and place in the fridge over night.
The next day, follow the instructions on the ice cream maker.
Once the ice cream is done in the ice cream maker, place in the freezer over night to set up.
My co-worker had a great idea…to make my alcohol flavored ice cream and make milkshake mixed drinks out of them! That would be awesome….hmm…
