Inside out Burger

Earlier today I was watching reruns of Man vs Food, and I saw what was called a Jucy Lucy (yes that is how they spelled it at the restaurant). So I looked in my freezer and found some ground meat and I looked if i had some cheese and I got excited!

Ingredients: 1 lb ground meat, 1tsp of cayenne pepper, 1 tsp granulated garlic, 1 tsp toasted grated onion, 1/2 tsp white pepper, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 2 tsp salt, 4 slice of american cheese, and a burger bun.

In a large bowl, mix everything together but the cheese and bun. Take half a fist full of the meat mix and pound down with your hands until it’s 1/8th of an inch thick. Place 1/2 pieces of cheese on the patty. Take another half fist full of meat and pound down with your hands again and place on top of the cheese and seal the sides of the patties together (make sure the cheese isn’t showing). Now repeat with the rest of the meat.

In a saute pan, heat up 1/2 a cup of vegetable oil. Place a patty in the middle of the pan and fry about 3 minutes of each side.
